Kelsea Ballerini and Halsey performed a heartfelt rendition of “The Other Girl” on the 70th episode of CMT Crossroads.
The duo recorded the performance back in October and released the collaboration off Ballerini’s new album, Kelsea, which includes previously released songs “Homecoming Queen?” and “Club."
Ballerini and Halsey have been friends for almost two years now. The girl power duo first connected over beers and The Dixie Chicks in July 2018 during Halsey's tour stop in Nashville.
"I'm obviously a really big fan of her music, so I went to the show with my friends and afterwards said hi, and she didn't have a show the next day, so she was like, "Let's go hang!' And I was like 'Yep!'" Ballerini previously shared, according to People.
"We just hung out a few places in Nashville," she adds. "We're both really similar in age and had a lot to talk about; it was cool to be around someone who's so creative and so driven and so down-to-earth. She really is so lovely. I feel like I made a new friend."
