Here at On Air With Ryan Seacrest, we’re all about kicking off the holiday season early. Ellen K reunited with Ryan Seacrest on Friday, November 9, to do just that, revealing that Gwen Stefani will also be helping get us in the holiday spirit by performing live for the KOST 103.5 Holiday Kick-Off Party.
“Life is too short,” Ryan said. “We need to start Christmas immediately, like, why wait?”
To get into the spirit, Ellen K is enlisting the help of Gwen Stefani to “flip the switch” to Christmas music on the Ellen K Morning Show beginning Friday, November 9.
“It does really warm me and this has been a rough week for everybody here in Southern California and this is what we need,” Ryan said, referring to the tragic Borderline Bar & Grill shooting and Southern California wildfires. “We need family time and we need holidays — we need that kind of feeling.”
Ellen also surprised Ryan with a voicemail from her son Calvin — who is all grownup!
“He’s a junior in high school [now],” Ellen said after the staff couldn’t believe their ears. “Sisanie, you’re really going to relate to this because when Ryan and I just began I was breastfeeding [Calvin]!”
