Tony Robbins wants to help you get "unstuck."

The famed life coach and best-selling author appeared as a guest on Monday's (January 5) episode of Jay Shetty's On Purpose podcast, chatting with Shetty for an inspirational how-to on personal development, self-confidence and fulfillment. The motivational speaker also explained how the importance of making decisions and overcoming any fear of imperfection will go a long way for those feeling "stuck in life" and help them live life to the fullest extent.

"People are afraid of making the wrong decisions, fear of not being perfect, fear of consequences to their decisions," he said, adding that "it's not your conditions, it's your decisions that determine the quality of your life."

Robbins also shared why he believes learning how to be decisive also factors in overcoming stress and anxiety.

"Most people are stressed because stress is usually measured by how much you feel you control events versus events control you," he said. "The more you feel events are controlling you, the more overwhelm you feel, the more stress, the more anxiety, the more fear... In order to go from being stressed to not... I think the single most important tool is decision making."

On Purpose with Jay Shetty has a focus on mental health and aims to help listeners feel understood in the challenges and hurdles they face in life.
