Lindsay Lohan Defends Harvey Weinstein, Prompts Explosive Twitter Responses

Lindsay Lohan wants everyone to stop lashing out on Harvey Weinstein, as per two since-deleted Instagram Story clips, which the actress posted on Tuesday night (October 10). As expected, her surprising stance on the Hollywood producer didn't sit well with the Twitterverse.

"I feel very bad for Harvey Weinstein right now, I don't think it's right what's going on," Lindsay explained about the sexual harassment allegations surrounding the industry titan. "I think Georgina [Chapman] needs to take a stand and be there for her husband. He's never harmed me or did anything to me—we've done several movies together. I think everyone needs to stop—I think it's wrong. So stand up." Watch her video and Twitter's responses to the scandal below.

Prior to Lohan's reveal, Georgina announced that she was leaving her husband as the entire mess begins to roll out. "My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions," she said in a statement to PEOPLE. "I have chosen to leave my husband."
