Demi's family is now saying that while she did infact overdose, it was not because of heroin. The specific item that caused the overdose has not be release as of right now.

An update posted on TMZ states that Demi's aunt posted on social media that Demi is "awake & responsive". Multiple sites are also reporting that Demi is in stable condition. We are continuing to pray for Demi and her family.

According to reports, Demi was found unconscious when paramedics arrived. Monday night she was out celebrating a friends birthday and seemed happy from pics on her private Instagram.

Reports are coming in via TMZ.COM that Demi Lovato has been rushed to an LA Hospital.
TMZ is reporting that Demi has been rushed to the hospital from an apparent heroin overdose.
No word yet on her condition but accouring to law enforcement she was rushed to the hospital just before noon today from her Hollywood Hills home.
Demi had been 6 years sober up until last month when she admitted that she had a relapse. We are sending our love to Demi and keeping her and her family in our prayers. We will keep up you to date on the story as we get info.
