Gender reveals are all the rage right now! Will you pop the balloon to reveal pink or blue? Will the inside of your cake show boy or girl? And I'll be honest, I am addicted to watching these videos and seeing how creative people get with them!
Which is why when my friend, Alyssa, back home in California shared her video I about died it was so adorable and so original! She had LIONS....yeah you read that correct, LIONS, help reveal if she was having a boy or girl!
How'd she pull it off? Well it helps that she works at this AMAZING place called 'Lions, Tigers & Bears' in Alpine, California. IF you are ever out there you should definitely visit! It's not a zoo but rather a big cat & exotic animal rescue that provides peace and tranquility for their rescued animal residents to live out the rest of their lives with dignity in a safe and caring environment. Alyssa loves working there and has a huge passion for her work. So it was an obvious choice to include her love for these animals with her gender reveal.
They decided to get 3 of their lions involved in the action, Jillian, Suri & Bakari, by dying some treats (turkeys) the color of the gender and hiding them in boxes for the lions to open and surprise everyone! Sure, it sounds odd but check out the adorable video below and you'll see just how cute and special this gender reveal is!
