"American Horror Story: Cult" kicks off September 5th . . . and if you've been wondering how PRESIDENT TRUMP and the 2016 election tie into the plot, here's the deal:
"AHS" regular SARAH PAULSON plays Ally, a woman living in Michigan who freaks out when Trump wins the election. It's driving her so crazy that she sees CLOWNS everywhere . . . even though she's going to a therapist.
EVAN PETERS, another series regular, plays Kai, a psycho who's thrilled that Trump won and sets out to torture Ally. He gets a girl named Winter to take a job as a nanny to Ally's son. But her REAL mission is to push Ally over the edge.
Twisty the Clown from "American Horror Story: Freak Show" even returns. Sort of.
