Disneyland Might Extend Food & Wine Festival Due To COVID-19 Crisis

We're all really missing our happy place right now, especially Disneyland!

Unfortunately, less than a month before Disneyland and California Adventure Park closed, the annual Food & Wine Festival kicked off. The festival dates started on February 28th and goes through April 21st.

Disneyland is supposed to reopen on April 1st, but it is very unlikely considering the circumstances of all the recent updates and guidelines revolving around COVID-19. However, WDW News Today reported that a new permit has been filed that may hint at a possible extension.

The new permit was filed on March 18, four days after Disneyland Resort closed to guests due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

In the permit, it lists all 12 food kiosks for the festival. The dates spans from the day they began being rolled out on February 24th, through September 7th. So that September end date may be the first sign of an extension of the Food & Wine Festival.

So if you still have your Sip & Favor Pass, hold on to it because the festival might still be happening! We hope this is true!
