Kim Kardashian was pushed to the edge while studying for an important exam.

The stress of preparing to take the bar exam finally caught up to the SKIMS founder in an emotional moment captured on Thursday's (December 18) episode of The Kardashians. Kardashian broke down in tears as she described how stressed she was from the effort she put in to study for the California bar exam, which was nine days out at the time, per People.

"I'm absolutely gonna cry, 'cause it's f------ exhausting," she said.

Kardashian detailed the physical impact of studying for the bar, throwing out her back so much that she could "hardly walk" or even sit down. This, compounded with the mental burden and feeling like she "hit a wall" in her studies, caused the mom of four even more strain.

"I threw my back out, and it's like, every time I get to another step, something pulls me back," she said. "There's all these f------ roadblocks, and I'm not a pity party kind of girl, but last night, I was like, why the f--- is this happening?"

Kardashian said that even though she was warned that the test prep took its toll on all those taking the exam, and that "everyone, before they take the bar, has a mental breakdown," she thought she could be the exception.

"I just knew that wasn't me, 'cause I'm not that person, but I get it. It's really a lot. Now I really, really get it," she said, adding, "I had no clue it was gonna be this emotional. I don't know how I can get any more information into my brain."

Unfortunately for Kardashian, she ended up failing the bar. She revealed last month that she didn't pass the exam required to become a lawyer but explained that she wasn't giving up on her dream.

"Six years into this law journey, and I'm still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up – just more studying and even more determination," she said, adding, "Falling short isn't failure – it's fuel. I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivates me even more."
