Gwyneth Paltrow and Timothée Chalamet, 29, filmed a handful of sex scenes together for their upcoming movie, Marty Supreme, and Paltrow was very conscious of their age gap the entire time.
According to E!News, Paltrow, 52, is 23 years Chalamet's senior and was hyper-aware of the fact during intimate moments on set.
"I was like, ‘Okay, great. I’m 109 years old. You’re 14." The Goop founder went on to reveal that she and the Wonka star have "a lot of sex in this movie" and had to enlist the help of an intimacy coordinator.
"There’s now something called an intimacy coordinator which I did not know existed." Paltrow proceeded, commenting on how "stifled" she would be carrying out some of the instructions Chalamet was given.
"I don’t know how it is for kids who are starting out, but… if someone is like, 'Okay, and then he’s going to put his hand here,' I would feel, as an artist, very stifled by that." The star also took time to sing the A Complete Unknown actor's praises, referring to him as "polite" and "properly raised."
"He’s just a very polite, properly raised, I was going to say, kid. He’s a man who takes his work really seriously and is a fun partner."
Marty Supreme is slated for release in December 2025.
