Rumer Willis shared new information about her father, Bruce Willis's health, just ahead of his 70th birthday.

The Die Hard actor was diagnosed with aphasia, a common form of frontotemporal dementia, in 2022, and his family members continue to provide updates on the ups and downs attached to his incurable condition.

According to People, Rumer, 36, whom Willis shares with ex-wife Demi Moore, posted an update to Instagram on Tuesday (March 18), revealing the current state of her father's health while drawing attention to a milestone he's celebrating.

"He's doing great; thank you for asking. It is actually his 70th birthday tomorrow, so please wish my papa a big happy birthday."

The Death Becomes Her star (who turned 70 today) also shares daughters Tallulah, 31, and Scout, 33, with Moore. In September 2024, Tallulah revealed that his condition was stable, but some days were "painful."

"There’s painful days – but there’s so much love. And it's really shown me to not take any moment for granted and I really do think that we'd be best friends. I really do think that he is very proud of me."

Earlier this year, Willis' wife Emma Hemming, with whom he shares daughters Mabel, 12, and Evelyn, 10, zoomed in on the "heaviness" she felt on their wedding anniversary.

"Anniversaries used to bring excitement — now, if I’m honest, they stir up all the feelings, leaving a heaviness in my heart and a pit in my stomach. I give myself 30 minutes to sit in the ‘why him, why us,’ to feel the anger and grief."
