Here's When Katy Perry & Orlando Bloom Are Expected To Marry

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom will be husband and wife before year's end.

On Wednesday (June 26), a Bloom source tells PEOPLE the couple, who became engaged on Valentine's Day, will walk down the aisle in the latter months of 2019.

“They are using a planner to finalize all the wedding details. Katy seems in charge, but Orlando is involved with the planning, too,” the insider told the outlet. “They don’t seem stressed about it though. It will be a fun celebration with family and friends.”

It's unclear what's sparked the duo's desire to wed so soon, as it was just a few weeks ago that the "Never Really Over" singer expressed wanting a long engagement.

When asked for a wedding planning update on the UK's Kiss Breakfast Wrap show, Perry replied: “Well yeah, one step at a time. Definitely, you know, trying to, like, lay the good emotional foundation for the lifetime of commitment, which is, like, a big deal, you know?”

It's a big deal indeed for the lovebirds who seem closer than ever before despite their on-and-off relationship over the years.

As you know, Bloom popped the question to Perry during a close-knit gathering in front of family and friends. "Full bloom," the musician captioned the romantic moment with an eye-level pic of the pair and her beautiful ring — a flower-shaped diamond design with a pink gem at its center.
