Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson Perform Two Songs on 'SNL': Watch

On Saturday night (December 15), Miley Cyrus made her fourth appearance as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live during the Matt Damon-hosted Christmas episode.

For her first song, the pop star and Mark Ronson performed a passionate rendition of their hit collaborative single, "Nothing Breaks Like a Heart." The producer plucked an acoustic guitar while Cyrus sang in a platinum tracksuit. Film footage of car chases projected on the wall behind them.

Later, the collaborators treated fans to their recently released cover of John Lennon and Yoko Ono's "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" with the icons' son, Sean Ono Lennon. Cyrus opted for a more festive outfit for her take on the 1971 classic, wearing a red and green cocktail dress for the occasion.

Pete Davidson announced the second performance. It was the only appearance he made on the show (aside from a pre-taped sketch) after worrying fans and friends with an alarming Instagram post hinting he was suicidal just a few hours before the episode aired.

"i really don't want to be on this earth anymore," the post read. "i'm doing my best to stay here for you but somewhere actually don't know how much longer i can last. all i've ever tried to do was help people. just remember i told you so."

The 25-year-old later deleted his Instagram account.
