Does Your Partner's Driving Make You Nervous?

When you're a passenger in someone else's car, are you relaxed or white-knuckling it the whole time? For the average person, it's the second one.

53% of us "always" or "often" feel anxious about other people's driving. That includes people we're in the car with as well as other drivers on the road.

We don't even trust the one person you'd expect us to: 63% of people in relationships say their PARTNER'S driving makes them nervous.

So how do we act when we're in the passenger's seat with no control?

First, 70% of us check to make sure everyone in the car has their seatbelt on. 60% also keep their eye on the speedometer. And 52% often find themselves wishing the person driving would just slow down.

The poll also found the top times we speed are when we're running late for something . . . when there's less traffic . . . and when we feel like we're just in a hurry.
