The owners of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, where the Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock staying during his deadly rampage, are filing suit against more than 1000 victims. They are doing so in an attempt to avoid liability stating MGM is not responsible for deaths, injuries, or other damages that stemmed from that shooting.
It should be noted that the lawsuit does not seek any compensation from the vitims, but they are trying to prevent future lawsuits against the company moving forward.
